Creative engineering design:
For my groups creative engineering design, we decided we wanted to find a way to eliminate the problem of distracted driving. From our research we found that the number one leading cause of distracted driving is from using your phone while driving.
Our Model
This picture is a prototype we made using a 3D modeling website. We call it the "SiriDrive" and it is a very useful and unique way of using your phone while driving without having to look or touch your device. It is a voice activated system that responds to the certain voice activation code you give it. After it recognizes the command, the stylus lowers and holds the home button down until Siri is activated. From there you can ask Siri to do many different tasks, as it already does, and the speaker on the side plays back what you said. This gives you freedom to text and call people without even touching your phone, and that leads to being more alert on the road and safer driving!

Reflection
My group and I did really well working as a team. Brandon and I worked on the 3D model while the girls worked on the slide show. But we didn't split the work, after we both finished we revised each others work and made it as perfect as we could in our time frame. We did really well on the research portion of our work and this helped us out in a major way. We didn't communicate well sometimes because some days we wouldn't have a device to work on and this led to us having less time to complete all the thins we had hoped to. We also didn't do great on our presentation, so I think we could review what we are going to say more before we present.
